The Small Munsterlander is a Hunter, Pointer, Retriever and makes a great active companion both in the field and at home. This multi-purpose gundog is steady in pointing, they have enormous scenting abilities and are equally suited to retrieving from land or water. They are loyal, affectionate, trustworthy and hardworking, always keen to learn and explore!

 1st August 2026. We are pleased to announce that the Royal Kennel Club has fully recognised the Small Munsterlander and have published an agreed Breed Standard in line with the International Standard already on our web site.
